报告主题:Perovskite Solar Cells – Challenges and Opportunities

Abstract: Organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cell is a new type of thin film photovoltaic technology and has achieved extraordinary improvements in power conversion efficiency in a relatively short time. It has potential to be a high efficiency, low cost alternative photovoltaic technology. The solution based system is attractive for processing of devices using a variety of techniques, such as printing, and it can be readily made into flexible solar cells on plastic substrates. However, there are a number of challenges before the technology’s commercialization, for example, difficulties in forming good quality large area thin films, internal ion movements, device stability and lead poisoning etc. In this presentation, I will talk about some recent progress in dealing with these challenges and introduce activities in scaling up perovskite solar cell modules, including the work at Wuhan University of Technology.

Biography: 程一兵,理工大学硅酸建筑材料国家重点实验室“千人划”教授,澳大利Monash大学材料科学与工程系客座教授、澳大利工程院院士。1978毕业于武建材学院(理工大学)1983年于武大学(理工大学)工程士学位,19896月于英国卡斯大学博士学位,198810月至19919月在英国卡斯大学从事博士后研究。199110月至20183月,在澳大利Monash大学任讲师、高级讲师、副教授、教授,其20042006年任Monash大学工学院副院20072013年兼任澳大利亚维多利州有机太阳能池研究中心首席研究20132017年兼任澳大利国家先太阳能池研究中心首席研究Monash大学分中心主任,201720183月兼任澳大利研究基金委激子科学研究中心首席研究。目前主要研究高性能薄膜钙钛矿电池,包括柔性钙钛矿太阳能池、透明钙钛矿太阳能池、钙钛矿/硅叠太阳能池等。已培养博士后、博士生七十多名,表研究文五百多篇,利二十余2018选跨学科领域全球“高被引科学家”名单。
